Life Is Like a Box of Chocolates . . . . .

Anyone fancy a guess as to where we had dinner tonight? Anyone that knows Pier 39 would know that there is a Bubba Gump's Shrimp Company at the end. And while neither Joanna nor I really care for seafood, Joanna happens to really like Coconut Shrimp and Bubba Gump's was just the place to get it.

I had never been to a Bubba Gump's for dinner and it was delicious. While Joanna had the Coconut Shrimp (which was one of their specialties, obviously), I had the BBQ pork sandwich - yummy. We also ordered drinks in specialty glasses that became ours at the end of the evening. The best part was that rather than having to take home glasses that were dirty and not packaged well, we just had to take our receipt to the shop and they gave us clean, packaged glasses. So, that worked out.

The funny thing was that before we were allowed to eat our food, our waitress, Andrea, asked us trivia questions about the movie (which, between the two of us, we were able to answer correctly).

San Francisco has been great. And just like Forrest Gump's momma said, "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." And the same can be said for San Francisco.
